BEST RESULTS EVER!

Congratulations to all pupils in Year 10 and 11 on your fantastic GCSE results! This year saw 80% of pupils achieving an A*-C in the Full Course GCSE with an amazing 38% of pupils achieving either an A or an A*! We're so proud of you ! Da iawn!

Studying Welsh at Cowbridge Comprehensive School not only equips students with the language skills they need for the world of work and further education, but it also develops pupils' confidence and communication skills as well as providing opportunities to explore and enhance their cultural identity.

The Welsh department consists of four members of staff: Mr B. Morgan, Mrs K. Evans, Miss E. John and Mrs L. Ellis. Welsh is a compulsory subject for all pupils in Wales. Welsh Second Language only is offered at the school. Educational courses are organised to Urdd camp at Llangrannog and visits to the theatre amongst others.
