Come and study A Level Welsh in Cowbridge!

Year 11 Options Evening is on Tuesday 29th January. Come and speak to the Department about studying Welsh in Key Stage 5!

Studying Welsh at Cowbridge Comprehensive School not only equips students with the language skills they need for the world of work and further education, but it also develops pupils' confidence and communication skills as well as providing opportunities to explore and enhance their cultural identity.

The Welsh department consists of four members of staff: Mr B. Morgan, Mrs K. Evans, Miss E. John and Mrs L. Ellis. Welsh is a compulsory subject for all pupils in Wales. Welsh Second Language only is offered at the school. Educational courses are organised to Urdd camp at Llangrannog and visits to the theatre amongst others.
